Lee Moore
Lee Moore believes in slowing down. That every moment is a blessing — a gift to be unwrapped — and she has spent decades learning how to unwrap them.
Raised in a secular, multifaith family, Lee’s Jewishness awakened in 1995 when a lucid dream led her to a rainbow gathering in the Land. There she first experienced collective, earth-rooted prayer, soul-stirring Hebrew chant and emergent community. That encounter set her on a lifelong NeoChassidic path as a song-keeper, ritualist, rabbi, student of Kabbalah, and avid co-creator of self-organizing systems.
A founding staff member of Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah (2010–2017), she contributed substantially to Living Torah and Jewish Sensibilities frameworks. In that same period, she served the Kent State campus as Senior Jewish Educator. She now returns to the foundation after a nomadic chapter exploring consciousness, embodiment, consent, and play as critical elements in spiritual cultivation and cultural transformation.
A seasoned facilitator, Lee cares deeply about group process. She has held space for countless retreats and convenings in Buddhist and Jewish contexts, including multiple seasons for Elat Chayyim. She holds rabbinic ordination from Hebrew College, an MS in Environmental Policy from Michigan, and a BA in Religious Studies from Wesleyan.
